Leesburg is a small unincorporated community in Harrison County, Kentucky, United States. It is near the cities of Centerville, Oxford, Paris, Cynthiana, and Georgetown. It is known for being a 'wide spot in the road', and for its age and pastoral scenery.
Leesburg was considered for the position of state capital, before that honor was given to Frankfort.
